My review of Marrying the Matchmaker....this was a fun series to read by Jody Hedlund.
Zaira Shanahan and Bellamy McKenna, what a match. These two have been flitting around each other for awhile but neither wants to admit they have feelings for each other. When Zaira needs help writing a romantic scene in her story she goes to Bellamy. The results are more than she expected or imagined. I loved this story the best, both of them have secrets from their families that they are afraid to tell but they know each other's secrets. There is plenty of romance, humor, some mystery, faith and family dynamics in this story and it takes place during the cholera epidemic in St. Louis so there are the social issues of that.

My review of Whiteout by Dani Pettrey and Lynette Eason.
Buried in Shadows was a suspenseful story. Cassie a medical examiner called off her wedding to Joel, a sheriff to prevent him from being killed. Now along with some of their family and friends they are at a wedding venue and get caught in an avalanche and trapped by a blizzard not realizing the stalker is with them. This story is full of action, suspense, romance, faith, and a race against time before someone dies.
In Snowbound Secrets, Dr. Maya Sullivan is on the other side of the avalanche at the resort where she runs into two of her oldest friends, Gideon Price and Vance Harland. A series of attacks against Maya brings Gideon to her rescue as a protector until they can find out why she is being targeted and by who. There is a lot of action in this story and suspense as far as who is after Maya and why.

I thought both stories were really good and the ending of both was a shocker as to who was behind the attacks.

My review of Ambush of the Heart a new series by Mary Connealy about US Marshalls.
Ambush of the Heart is about 3 US Marshall's tasked with getting a prisoner to trial. They start the journey with Boone and Delaney Bridger riding with them to Fort Russell where their parents are. Along the way they get ambushed, flee from criminals, ride through the roughest country/mountains they've ever seen, pick up more people to add to their group, chase after escaped prisoners and lots of other escapades. All three of the Marshall's get their hearts "ambushed" in this first book. It's full of adventure, action, romance, humor, inspiration and fun. I love the characters and the descriptions of the country they are riding through. A wild western ride!

My review of Riches Beyond Measure by Mary Connealy
A wonderful ending to the series full of earthquakes, hidden treasure, romance, thieves, archeology, and faith. Annie Lane and Cord Westbrook along with some of the men from Two Harts Ranch go on a final treasure hunt to finish the last half of the map. What they find is truly amazing! There is plenty of action, earthquakes, humor, romance, faith, and mystery in this story. If you like westerns and history then this one is for you.

My review of Dark Design by Nancy Mehl, this one is a psychological suspense.
“I was only nine years old when I knew I was destined to be a serial killer.”
My favorite line from the book. There is plenty of suspense as Kaely Quinn Hunter teams up with Erin Deleaney to try and figure out who the serial killer is that is using the murder methods from author's books. This is one of those books where you think you figure out who did it and then discover you are wrong. Another excellent book in the series.
