Finally found picanha locally at Scott's Meats & Deli and picked one up on Father's day. Been in the freezer for a bit and broke it out for our camping trip. Seasoned mine and my wife's with Blazing Star BBQ Beef and the kid's Strongarm Bar and Grill Big Unc on the Drip EZ prep tub. Broke out the Char-Griller Akorn Jr and tossed in some Jealous Devil Onyx binchotan in with some leftover Chunx and used the just keep flipping method till I had a good sear and reached 125° internal.
Thats what I call a good camping dinner!

My biggest solo cook to date and everything came out great!
Catered for an end of summer block party with around 100 guests. 8 Swift Meats pork butts , 20 St Louis racks of ribs (seasoned with Blazing Star BBQ Pork'n and added a little bit of black pepper) and 40lbs of party wings seasoned with Blazing Star BBQ Beef in my XL Drip EZ prep tubs.
Everything came from my local Costco You should have seen the looks I was getting 😜
Cooked with Jealous Devil over the course of 2 days I used Max, Chunx, Flex and Blox 🔥👊😎
The old Myron Mixon Smokers put in some WORK! Crazy to see the bark and char developed in a water smokers!

Excited to continue doing some larger cooks like this and looking forward to my first whole hog! Hopefully soon.
