We both are in busy season for working but this has been a blessing to connect with everyone at the store. Thanks to every purchaser and booth visitor, we are grateful.

Afrobohypsy began as a dream, born from the intertwined stories of two best friends with a passion for culture, adventure, and wellness. These friends, though never journeying together at the same time, roamed the world in their own ways, gathering tales, traditions, and treasures from every corner of the globe.

Separated by miles but always connected in spirit, they would share their travels with one another through late-night calls and postcards, trading secrets of hidden markets and recipes learned from locals. Each journey, each experience, planted the seed of Afrobohypsy—a brand that would allow them to bring all those global influences under one roof.

Together, they created Afrobohypsy as a celebration of their unique experiences and shared passion for authentic, handmade, and wellness-driven products. Here, they offer handmade crafts and jewelry, some sourced from local artisans and others imported directly from the communities they connected with abroad. Their medicinal tea blends, dried soup ingredients, and herbal mocktails embody the wisdom of global wellness practices, helping their community find harmony, balance, and health.

Afrobohypsy is more than just a store—it’s a fusion of global roots and a bohemian soul, designed to nurture and inspire.
