Exciting Updates!

Many of you already know that Methow Valley Goods is evolving after eight wonderful years. What started as a small holiday pop-up grew into a full-time storefront that returned more than $60,000 each year to local makers and became a welcoming hub for creativity in the valley. We’re so grateful for everyone who supported MVG and helped it thrive!

Here's some exciting news: longtime MVG vendor and jewelry artist Grace Ashford is reimagining the space as The Nightshade Bowery, carrying forward the spirit of MVG while creating something all her own.

Step inside and you’ll find pottery, jewelry, fine woodworking, glass, paintings, books by local authors, and more—a curated showcase of Methow Valley talent.

📅 Grand Opening: Friday, September 27
🕙 Regular Hours: Wednesday–Saturday, 10AM–5PM

Come celebrate this new beginning and make The Nightshade Bowery your new go-to stop for local art and craft in the Methow Valley!

Phil Millam is a former career bureaucrat who found his true calling in the heat of the forge. What started as a personal quest to make a better knife turned into Dog Paw Knives—a line of handcrafted blades inspired by function and tradition.

Each knife is cut, shaped, tempered, and handled by Phil himself, often with caribou antler, walnut, or tough, modern synthetics. He’s especially drawn to kitchen knives these days—because as he says, “you’ve got to get that one just right.”
