A variant of the legendary C**t Woodsman lineage, designed by John Moses Browning โ the Challenger was produced from 1950 to 1955 and is considered one of the finest American rimfire target pistols ever made. Featuring a 4.5" barrel, 10-round magazine, heel magazine release, and blued finish โ these are getting harder to find in any condition. A legitimate piece of American fi****ms history.

This one has a story. In 1942, the War Department ordered 34,000 Model H-Ds for the Army for basic pistol training โ and a suppressed variant of this exact platform was used by the OSS and later the CIA. With a natural-pointing grip, virtually zero recoil, and target-grade accuracy, it was a direct competitor to the C**t Woodsman. The HD Military is one of the most historically significant .22 pistols ever produced.
