Do you have a hip or knee replacement coming up?
While I help with marketing and buying for the front end of our family owned pharmacy, I am a physical therapist by trade. Most of my experience has been in hospitals and home health and I have seen many patients caught off guard by what happens after the surgery. Here is a basic list to help guide you and give you ideas for questions or research. As always, no two patients are the same, this is not given as speficic medical advice, and you should discuss concerns with your physician and personal physicial therapist. And of course, our friendly pharmacists are here to help with your medication and health questions as well.
If you're looking for equipment to increase your independence after the surgery, we would love to help. We have a variety of cash pay medical equipment: grab bars, rollators/canes, shower chairs, bedside commodes, reachers and my personal favorite the HIP and KNEE KIT that was created specifically for people udergoing hip and knee replacements.
