Step into the Magic of the Season! We joyfully invite you to the 16th Annual Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party, a beloved holiday tradition that enchants guests of all ages. Held at the beautifully transformed Church of the Foothills Fellowship Hall, this immersive celebration is your gateway to a Nutcracker-themed wonderland filled with sparkle, story, and sweet delights. From the moment you arrive, the Sugar Plum Fairy Tea Party brings the magic of the holidays to life. Guests can craft festive keepsakes, meet the Sugar Plum Fairy for a special photo, and be escorted to their tables by Nutcracker cast members. Enjoy seasonal tea and treats while listening to a live narrated performance of The Nutcracker. Each guest takes home a keepsake photo, and our Nutcracker Boutique offers whimsical holiday treasures. This beloved Orange County tradition is held annually in anticipation of our full-length production of The Nutcracker at the Downey Theatre, December 20–21, 2025.

Good morning all,

We are sorry to bring sad news this morning. The former owner of Scooters Mailbox and Scooters Hallmark, Mark Masters, passed away unexpectedly this past Saturday while visiting his sister in Oklahoma. Mark was 68 years old.

He and his wife, Gwen, were married 45 years ago and have one daughter, Kris. The family recently sold their business, Scooters Mailbox, to Jaden Piazza two years ago, and Mark continued to help out at the store four days a week. Scooters was known to many to be a friendly store with personalized help and packaging of mail.

The family will be holding a celebration of life service for Mark on November 1st. Details to follow later. They will also notify the community at a later time how they may donate funds to TUSD elementary music in lieu of flowers. Gwen asks that if you wish to send cards to drop them off at Scooters, 360 E. First St. in Tustin.

This is for our local friends on FB: It takes a village to make Broadway in the Park happen...a BIG village. Every year, TACFA needs between 200-300 volunteers to help with set up, park operations, handing out program books, helping at Kids' Fun Zone, security shifts, working the snack bar, helping with reserved tables...you get the idea. TACFA reports they are only at 50% filled and THEY NEED YOUR HELP! Can you donate your time for one shift at Broadway in the Park, dates are August 1-10? Here's a link for Signup.com.
