Brandon Crawford is a 2 time World Series Champ, 3 time All Star, 4 time Gold Glover and full time clubhouse DJ. He’s also a father of 4, and he’s REALLY good looking. We discuss his favorite music genres, the Giants eclectic vibe, and his teammate Mt. Rushmore. When he was in Kindergarten, he told his dad he was going to play Major League Baseball. He turned that love in a crazy hard work ethic. From Friday Night batting cage sessions in high school, to taking extra ground balls at UCLA, he had a drive. 🔥2022 Sandlot Tour Dates🔥It’s been an incredible year for the Sandlot. We brought the message of kindness and joy to 8 different states across this land, while sustaining year round Sandlots in 3 different cities of Orange County, Ca. Over 50 different Assistant Coaches have helped make that possible. “Boots on the ground” in Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, Pennsylvania, New York, Texas and North Carolina found fields for me and helped spread the word. The made all the travel costs possible. I can’t thank the Schrecengost Family enough for giving me that boost to Johnny Appleseed my way across the country so fresh faces can get fresh nicknames and hear The Roberto Clemente Story. In 2022 , the Sandlot will see 12 new states. WHERE ARE WE GOING?

SAVE THOSE DATES and come join us! Fall of 2022 will see a few more states as well. We’re just getting started. In 10 years, there will be a Sandlot in every state. That’s not a dream. That’s a mission. Why? Because it’s necessary.
I’m grateful for my 3 girls, who are so pivotal in every part of the process. Avery Jean and Aubrey James don’t just jump in the van and ride around the country with me. They fold merchandise. They greet kids. They carry water coolers. They are my legs and my feet. And then there’s . The amount of hours she puts in is remarkable. She built our website from scratch. She built the merch from scratch. She books the flights, rental cars and hotels. She hired the amazing to do all our art design. She hired all the folks that produce everything we make. She builds every registration page for every Sandlot and Camp we run. She does it ALL. I love you. Happy New Year to all. Let’s turn this corner with fervor.

Coaches: Don’t publicly shame your players. It’s a LOSE LOSE. I’ve seen this first hand from some coaches in the past. It NEVER works. So why do we do it? Because we are equating someone else’s failures to our shortcomings, and we lash out at that. Have I done it? ABSOLUTELY. It’s natural to be self deprecating to a FAULT. What helps me in these moments? Breathing. Take a deep breath. Walk it off. “Praise should be heard. Constructive criticism should be done quietly, in a 1 on 1 setting.” Full Podcast is LIVE.
