this is why I support Schwalbe Tires and it’s the only tire that I sell for clinchers, tubulars and tubeless. you install them they go on easily and on big tubeless set ups in 45C they air up easily and don’t leak. I can’t say that about any other brand.

Yesterday i had a client bring in a BMC Roadmachine 01 Amp X pedal assist bike that is equipped with Rival ETap. He was complaining about how the speedometer kept jumping.

i had a look at SRAMS site and all it suggested was a firmware issue.

I then reached out to BMC-USA and spoke to one of their sales guys since they don’t have a tech dept. i explained who i was, what my issue is and this guy would only point me at the “dealers” they have in Az that are supposed to be stocking dealers

l called all 8 of them. None of these “dealers”were stocking dealers anymore, and when pressed they didn’t have anything good to say about this company and good luck.

All i can say is that if this is the quality of the company and how it reflects upon them , i’m surprised that they are still in business.
When i asked the inside sales guy if he had any ideas, he basically said to me that since I wasn’t a stocking dealer that he wasn’t going to help me.

This is bullsh*t…

I dont know what the deal is with Rapha Clothing.They are 'closing'several stores world wide... SO WHAT. It has a big marketing plan to push it to the world, yet its overpriced for the average consumer and doesn't show any added benefits if you happen to crash while wearing it. All I see is media hype for something that isn't worth much.

Quite frankly there are better brands out there what are worth more to support like Assos, Castelli, Endura, Giordana, Nalini, Pearl Izumi,Santini, Sportful, Aerotek, Voler, etc than buying over priced clothing from Rapha.

Well it seems that tubular tires have finally faded away past the horizon. Here is the latest testing for the best road wheels to buy this year.
Personally I think this is a load of crap. IMO, tubulars still ofer a better, faster, more comfortable ride than a clincher will any day of the week and I am proud to sell and service them.

today is the first day that I have had the honour of bleeding a set of Sram hydraulic brakes. Now I understand why people hate them so much. The idea that I have to run two syringes pushing and pulling the fluid instead of being able to just push it all out one way is beyond me. I now really appreciate how Shimano and Tetro and TRP run their systems compared to this crap.
