In the Lab with JBC Lesson 5: Cancer Prevention! According to the EWG below are everyday top 5 contributors to cancer risk:
1. Toxic forever chemicals in consumer products (PEAS)
Avoid anything stain-, wrinkle-or water resistant, such as nonstick pants, stain-resistant upholstery, spill-proof children's products and toys, rainproof outerwear and long-lasting cosmetics.
2.Contaiminants in tap water
Don't drink tap water unless filtered.
3. Artificial food colors
Study your label and especially avoid anything with names like Red 3 and Blue 1.
4. Pesticides in produce
Choose organic whenever possible.
5. Hair colorants and relaxers
