Removed the wooden plug for the truss rod of this early 90’s Fender with a Wilkinson nut. Removed the stripped stock truss rod nut and installed the new one. Put the original plug back in and sealed it up… it’s good to go!

Not bad for 99 years!! Restored and upgraded this German made Jacobus Hornsteiner model 120 violin from 1927. Very very nice Stradivarius copy. It’s all original except the added fine tuners. Lots of pumice work on this one. But it sounds amazing!

On today’s episode of , this JP6 Majestic came in. We did a complete upgrade.

We did a complete new fretjob with 6100’s, new Seymour Duncan Nazgûl/sentient pickups, we added a brand new beyond amazing Gotoh G1996 Floyd rose and locking nut, new tremolo cavity was added in and had to create a proper nut shelf for the locking nut, and some new Gotoh 4 over 2 tuning machinesit came out perfect. I can’t get this thing to come out of tune. It plays like butter and has killer tone

Added a pickup to this cool resonator, now it’s electric … taadaa

Ebony is a very brittle wood, especially when not conditioned and oiled properly. 100% of the time there’s going to be chipping while removing the old frets. You have to dam the fret slots, fill the wood with Ebony dust and super glue, resurface it, radius it again, then it’s ready to accept the new frets

Little process of the carving of a custom ebony bridge for an acoustic guitar. Customer wanted to replace the Richlite bridge for real deal ebony. It came out great. Ebony is a bit more dense and resonate than Richlite composite material.

I carved the bridge, made a saddle slot jig, dyed the ebony so it’s uniform with Higgin’s India Ink and sealed grains. It came out great !
