Just a friendly PSA from your neighborhood patient care coordinator. If you have a uterus you better hope you don't get cancer because your treatment options will be limited and you may not survive. Anyone with a uterus could be denied any treatment that may cause miscarriages regardless of whether they are pregnant or not. This is an assault on our bodies, our autonomy, our free will. We need to stop infantalizing women and believing that their bodies belong to the community, reducing us to mere incubators. This has to end.

The Sun is a hopeful and optimistic card that portends good fortune, happiness, joy and harmony with the universe. This may serve as a reminder that the sun rises from darkness and although these are hard times, there is hope for a better future.

I feel like this book is such a treasure and needs to be highlighted. A very loved vintage textbook on chordate development published in 1977. The textbook has numerous colorful scientific illustrations. There are notes and highlights sprinkled throughout to add to the character and charm of this book. It is a laboratory manual as well as textbook so who knows, maybe the markings add a little extra touch of wisdom.
