DSD Composites is launching with its road wheel line up but will be expanding into cross, mountain bike, tandem, clydesdale, and fat bike. With a superior rim design, remarkable stopping power and precision craftsmanship, DSD is sure to give you smiles for miles. The wheels available are offered in tubular or tubeless compatible clincher. Our rim profiles feature a tapered 25mm wide brake track th

at increases to a 26.5mm wide body which allows for less drag and predictable handling in moderate to hard cross winds. And our brake surface has been perfected with a unique carbon layup and compound combination that provides powerful braking with long term durability. Our hubs are CNC machined from 6061 aluminium and feature a hollow 7075 aluminum axle with pressed in Enduro sealed cartridge bearings. With removable threaded end caps, service is a labor of ease. Available in Campy or Shimano/Sram 11 speed. With durability in mind, the cassette body uses Anti-Bite technology to keep Shimano and select Sram cassettes from gouging and marring the soft aluminum that is often used by other hub manufacturers. This is accomplished by three steel splines which prevent the cogs from rotating into the alignment pattern on the cassette body. Laced with Sapim's CX-Ray lightweight steel bladed spokes and their SILS locking ni***es, the wheel stiffness and performance potential is maximized for long term enjoyment and durability. Keeping the wheels secure is done with a set of our hollow steel skewers weighing in at just 57 grams! The cam profile is smooth and simple for easy wheel changes. Carbon specific brake pads and rim strips (clinchers only) are also included. With years of experience, every wheel is hand built in the USA with precision and balance. Happy Friday, everyone. I just wanted to touch base and give some updates since my last post.

I was discharged from the hospital this past Tuesday and and I'm starting to pick up on projects/builds again but at a much more manageable and healthy pace. I’ll maintain discretion pertaining to the details of my condition, but the short summary is that I underwent a complete system failure due to adrenal burnout, fatigue and stress.

I received countless messages from friends, family, customers and strangers alike - your encouragement, patience and prayers were heard and felt and I couldn’t be more thankful. I'm still not out of the woods, but healthy steps are being made in the right direction 🙏
