As many know, I've developed a love for donkeys in recent years. It started with laughing at a cute video online and has developed into a near obsession. A while back, The Tucson Lifestyle Magazine wrote a story about a donkey rescue called Forever Home Donkey rescue in Benson. It told the story of how it started with one donkey named Black Jack and how the rescue has grown since. Tours are available if you so choose, and if you can't, it's a nonprofit organization and maybe you'd like to make a donation.

I never had a chance to meet Black Jack, but so many sweet donkeys are there that just gobble up the attention. There is an open house on November 22nd. I highly recommend going for a fun day trip.
