Over the years we have helped customers to find bicycles ranging from their kid's first trike to high-end race bikes. We have rented bicycles to folks who have gone on weeklong tours and to those looking for a nice way to explore the city. We have helped commuters on their wa

This collaborative community event is co-hosted by Roadrunner Bicycles, Campfire Cycling, Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists (SDMB), Climbing in Color (CIC), and more participating local non-profits.

The Sonoran Desert and greater Arizona are beautiful, rugged, and culturally diverse landscapes. Stories emerge from every saguaro, lie in every wash, under every rock and around every corner.

Come join us on May 27th at 6:00 PM at Borderlands Brewing, 119 E Toole Ave. Tucson, AZ 85701 and listen to storytellers from local non-profits spin epic yarns of their experiences exploring, discovering, and navigating this incredible landscape.

The event is $5 and all proceeds will go to the non-profits participating in the event.

See below for the list of participating non-profits:

Sonoran Desert Mountain Bicyclists is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) non-profit organization devoted to the promotion of the sport of mountain bicycling, and view the sport as a vehicle to promote low impact outdoor recreation, conservation, and mountain bicycling opportunities that are environmentally and socially responsible. SDMB is dedicated to protecting and enhancing mountain bicycling opportunities through intersectional programing.

Climbing in Color’s mission is to elevate the voices of climbers of color and build a community of camaraderie and support. We are currently based in Tucson, Arizona, but our expansive Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) climbing community extends well beyond this region.

And more to come!...

This event’s theme is “Trails.” Adventures near and far always begin by taking one step after the other.

The event is also meant to bring awareness to the unfortunate eviction notice of Borderlands Brewing from the historic and current location.

Join us for a happy hour from 6-7PM

Stories will start at 7PM on the patio.

This is an all-ages event although alcohol may be present.

The event is capped at 120 people so register today!

Last but not least, meet Tangey! Although we’re still unsure of the exact watershed this Orange Molly came from, Nigel brought Tangey into the shop about a year ago. Since then, Tangey has brought a collective sense of care and presence to the shop as we all take turns feeding Tangey. Come by Roadrunner and say hi to all our pets, bikes and us too. We hope to see you soon!

Susan had no idea when she was scooped off the streets of Tucson at nine months old how her life was about to change. Dropped off at PACC on Nov 1, 2022 and picked up by Elliot on Nov 4th, Susan immediately was whisked to the outdoors. Her life became continual trips outside to accompany Elliot climbing, running, hiking, paddling, mountain biking, ice climbing and even riding on the motorcycle. She loves her little nook at the shop but her temperament towards other animals has led her to stay in the office while at the shop. She loves humans of all shapes, sizes, and ages! So if you come by, just ask to see Susan.😊
