Plants for Cultivating Remembrance of Menopause

I’m starting a group to explore working with plants as a tool for the emergence into our wise women years. So often pathologized, ignored, or experienced in isolation. This group will focus on building relationships and supporting reconnection to this time that was always celebrated and revered by our ancestors. We will use plant medicines (primarily flower essences), somatic practices, and dreamwork. We will slow down to listen to our bodies and support one another in community. This being my first time running the group.. It will be a bit of an exploration.

Dates: Feb 4th, 9:30am- 11:30, March 10th, 9:30- 11:30, April 14th, 9:30- 11:30, (one more date in early May tba)

First run of this is limited to 5 people.

Taught by: Amanda

Cost is: $225 (includes plant medicines we will work with)

Class description:
🌼 Did you know that there is an art to bleeding? And like with any good art practice there is creativity, magic, and discovery at hand!

Unfortunately so much of our experience and story around our menstrual cycles falls in the category of pain and distress... like how we were first introduced to it, what our culture teaches about it, and the lack of resources available to us. These things would have us believing that our cycles are anything BUT a practice of art and magic!

In this class I will share 5 powerful tips to get you on your way to practicing the art of bleeding. These tips are effective ways to find relief from menstrual cramping, mood swings, and emotional distress. We will discuss some useful plants as well as practices that can support you in developing a richer and more empowered way to bleed! This class will give you practical and useful skills you can play with and make your own to enrich your own practice of bleeding.

This Class will be recorded, so if you are unable to attend in person the link we be shared with you after class.

Operation:     C L E A N  J A R S     …I’m looking for someone who’s interested in work trade for either the Herb Store or Acupuncture treatments! It basically involves coming in the shop, peeling old labels off and cleaning jars out well. If you are interested DM me for more details! We’ve got a lot of jars to clean!!
