Oh wow! You guys knew this day was coming though,right? We’re proud to announce that “The Tina!” is back and in full force for the summer! Printed on the softest, stretchiest, thinnest, ol’ school tri-blend track shirt, this baby will have you cruising the town in style! Folks are definitely going to gawk, and then make way for the powers possessed on this t-shirt, that are then transferred and absorbed by the lucky individual wearing this wonderful garment. We have a saying at Old Paint that certain music could be so good, and played with such passion and expression, that it could “make Tina Turner cry,” which we always imagined would be quite the hard prospect, considering all the bull that Tina went through in her life. ( For reference we recommend her autobiography “I Tina.”) Anyway, she’s been a guiding light since waaaay waaaaay before day 1 at Old Paint, and continues to be to this day, even from the afterworld. Our tribute represents resilience, succeeding in the face of adversity, and bad mammajammas everywhere who are gonna go do it any which way but loose, with style, grace, and plenty of ass-kicking. Well this is certainly gearing up to be the best summer yet!! What is even happening?? Old Paint has ANOTHER pair of Tickets to give away; graciously provided by the folks at the Rialto Theater! This time, it’s to the upcoming Lukas Nelson and The Promise of the Real concert at the Rialto Theater on May 11th!

Heyyya Old Painters! We just wanted to give a heads up and shout out to some of the finest humans still walking the earth, and celebrating birthdays today!

Apparently Willie was born just before midnight on the 29th, so he celebrates on the 30th as well. Figures, huh?

Also figures that he shares the day with one of the greatest “hoolies” ever born, Iggy Pop, as well!

We suggest you rock some of their records today if ya got ‘em! We’re going to, anyway. Also!:

Happy Festivus, friends! We have our doors open today, and tomorrow (Christmas Eve) from 11-3:00, and the other shops of Old Town Artisans are open, too, so ya’ll can sneak in for some last minute gift shopping! Not sure what to get em? We have Gift Certificates available in the shop, or on the webshoppe! We’ll be oh so CLOSED, sleepin late, and wearing our slippas all day on Wednesday.
