A letter to global leaders

We're running out of time and our climate can't wait. We worked with youth to create a letter to global leaders and tell them that it's time to take bold action in the midst of a pandemic and climate catastrophe. It's time to end fossil fuel projects, ban crude oil exports, eliminate giveaways to oil, gas and coal corporations, and hold these polluters accountable. It's time to declare a national climate emergency and take much-needed executive action while creating meaningful consultation with the communities most impacted by fossil fuel pollution and climate disaster. It's time to choose people over polluters, and to protect and invest in creating healthier communities, better-paying jobs that protect people with workers' rights, and strong labor standards that see opportunities for all. It's time to stop the irreparable damage we're doing to the earth as we recover from the pandemic, and fight to save the planet. It's time to and ensure a clean, democratic, and sustainable future for all.
