If you add the caveat that you also never invested a dime in anything with the slightest return, this is mathematically accurate. Either way, it does lend perspective. Nobody actually works for billions of dollars, except the people working for the billionaires. They work their asses off. And guess what? Even if you aren’t employed in one of their factories or warehouses, if you are a consumer of mainstream goods and services, you’re working for the billionaires. And the planet works, giving its very vitality, providing the raw materials and natural capital.

We need to honestly ask ourselves: how much is enough? And then we need to lower the ceiling to whatever still-ample level we decide is rich enough and, especially, we must raise the floor for all people to make sure we remove the fear of hitting rock bottom. If the rock bottom is 3 squares, a roof that doesn’t leak, education, healthcare and connections to other people—well, resource guarding and worries about “the other” would fade considerably. As would most of the associated tensions and resulting suffering. Enough IS Enough!
