Silver from China… 🤯

I still can’t believe this piece exists.

What draws me in most isn’t just the silver itself, but the association with galena and the other metallic minerals throughout the matrix. The combination creates a level of contrast and character that immediately sets it apart.

The patina is equally important. It has the look and feel of a specimen that has been left alone and allowed to age naturally, something that becomes harder and harder to find.

I’m usually skeptical when it comes to silver specimens, especially from lesser-known localities. But every once in a while a piece comes along that changes your perspective. This is one of those pieces.

For me, it’s a reminder that some of the most exciting discoveries still come from places most collectors aren’t paying attention to. Considering the locality, finding a specimen at this level feels like a one-in-a-million occurrence. ❤️🔥

I was overwhelmed in China to say the least. I have never experienced anything like it in my entire life.

We were welcomed with open arms. Warm genuine people traveled from all over Asia to visit us.

Their culture is much different than ours in the sense that children are taught about collecting minerals at a young age. It’s amazing to see so much excitement and celebration for what has taken me a lifetime to create.

The U.S. market is cutthroat... China embraces and celebrates.

They also have a genuine interest and were excited to learn anything we would teach them.

Excited to keep living this roller coaster of a life. Who knows where I will end up next!

Remember, nothing is greater in life than seeing people you care about succeed. Celebrate your friends’ accomplishments. Don’t try to minimize them or take away from people’s happiness.

Hope you all have an amazing weekend. ❤️🙏🏻

I was first offered this piece over a decade ago in Tucson and walked away. The price back then scared me.

Years later, another opportunity came along, and this time I didn’t hesitate.

This is the finest leaf gold specimen I’ve ever seen. The flow, the textures, and the incredible strength simply don’t make sense. While most leaf golds are unbelievably delicate, The Flame is remarkably robust, putting it in a league of its own. When nature ignores its own rules, you get something like The Flame.

Sometimes a mineral changes the way you think about what’s possible. For me, this is one of those pieces. ❤️🔥

🤔 I remember way back in the day how badly I wanted one of these amethysts. 💜 Jackson Crossroads produces arguably the finest amethyst on matrix ever found.

A little over a decade ago, a dear friend of mine — Ryan Bowling, who has an intimate relationship with Jackson Crossroads — proposed a trade for this beautiful jewel. Let’s just say I was more than a little happy to have it.

Anyways, years go by and I end up trading it for a Herkimer diamond on black drusy matrix. Then, almost a decade later, somehow this insane piece finds its way back to me again.

It’s my favorite isolated amethyst on matrix I’ve ever seen. In person, it has an extra luster that almost makes it glow, and the clarity is absolutely illuminated. The termination rises into an unusually steep point that gives it a presence unlike anything else from the locality. 💜🤍💜

Every time I hold it, I’m reminded why Jackson Crossroads has earned such a legendary reputation. Some minerals are beautiful, but every once in a while one comes along that completely resets your expectations of what nature is capable of creating. This is one of those pieces—a specimen that exists on a level so few ever reach that it almost stops feeling like a mineral and starts feeling like art.

🙏💜

This piece is beyond magical. 💚🪄💚🧙‍♂️

Giant gem cubes with phantoms growing over each side of the matrix. It basically encapsulates the matrix. When you hold it, you feel like… how is this possible?

I’m usually not a “bigger is better” guy, but this piece does exactly that, sacrificing nothing as far as quality.

I have been obsessed much of my life with fluorites from Dalnegorsk, and this one has a dear spot in my heart!

If you are already collecting minerals, or want to start building a world-class collection, feel free to reach out anytime. I can promise you I’m the most fun and passionate curator out there. 🤦‍♂️🤣😩🤷‍♂️😂❤️🔥🙏🏻

I’ve said it for years... the world’s greatest minerals deserve to be viewed the same way we view the world’s greatest art.
The only difference is that no human created these.
Nature did... Millions of years of pressure, heat, chemistry, and chance came together to produce something that can never be recreated.

To me, that’s the definition of a masterpiece.

Then you have someone like Tom Spann () behind the camera. Tom has spent decades perfecting the art of photographing minerals, and images like this prove why he’s one of the best to ever do it.

Strip away the title and the description, hang/put this in a gallery in New York, London, or Paris, and people would stop to admire it without ever asking what it is.

Some minerals are beautiful. Others rewrite your expectations of what’s possible. This one does both.

🤯😬🔥🔥🔥😳😳😳🤯

If you know Pakistani minerals well, then you’ve probably been offered quite a few aquamarines in your lifetime. 🤦‍♂️😂😩 I can definitely relate, even though I probably only purchase one out of every thousand.

My entire career I’ve chased perfection at the highest level. This piece goes beyond that… it elevates.

To start, the quartz is alpine quality, and that’s not even the best part. It contains a ghost phantom inside that is shaped like a beryl crystal. 👻

I honestly wish I understood how that’s even possible. Has anyone else ever seen a quartz phantom in the shape of a beryl crystal?

Next, the aquamarine color is literally neon blue.

If you Google “aquamarine,” the untrained eye would assume they’re all this color, but unfortunately much of what people see online has been color enhanced or heavily edited. That’s exactly why I never trust photos alone before purchasing a mineral.

Finally, the aesthetic and composition of this piece are overwhelming. What are the odds that Mother Nature produced another specimen quite like it?

The answer is simple: zero… until now! 😂🤣

It’s important when collecting minerals that we never sacrifice quality for size or quantity. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🔥❤️❤️

History has a funny way of rewarding rarity. 🙌

Very few minerals hit the tier of an asset class. Only the top 1% of the greatest examples ever found do. This is one of those objects—absolutely one of the greatest mineral specimens ever discovered, and arguably the greatest beryl crystal in the world.

Someday this crystal may sell for $100 million… perhaps sooner than many people think.

I’ve spent the last three years of my life helping build a project that is finally beginning to blossom, and I truly believe it will elevate minerals into a category they have never previously occupied. Not because of their rarity, but because of the world’s lack of exposure to them.

Soon, I believe we’ll be living within a much larger community filled with new buyers, new collectors, and an entirely new level of enthusiasm for these extraordinary natural masterpieces.

I feel blessed to be part of something much bigger than myself, and I anxiously await the response from all of my friends who have been on this magical journey with me.

I’ve learned in life that if something is easy, it probably wasn’t worth it. This has been anything but easy. There have been plenty of obstacles along the way and no shortage of people who underestimated what was possible.

We will prevail, and I believe the day is near when people all over the world will celebrate the rarest natural objects on Earth. 🥂❤️🙂🔥
