CRF Minerals

CRF Minerals I'm happy to answer any questions and appreciate any interest.

I'm offering several minerals acquired over years of collecting because I can't display everything properly, and these should be appreciated by a collector rather than sitting in flats.

With winter making it difficult to go rockhounding, I've been spending a lot of time looking through my collection. I have a shelf of self collected specimens from my adventures that showcase some of my best finds and I thought I'd share. These pieces are NFS, but I hope you can appreciate these pieces even half as much as I do.

Zircon from Astore Valley, Skardu, Pakistan

Price: $20 (plus shipping)

Zircon is an amazing mineral for most collections because the mineral zircon is used in many studies for geochronologic dating of different rock formations. In most cases, this involves sieving out fine grains to find several microscopic zircon grains.

This specimen shows off the amazing tetragonal shape associated with zircon crystals. The terminations are perfectly intact with the sides of the crystal being imperfect. (Lot 5.5)

Mixed lot of geodes and quartz

Selenite (Repaired) from Winnipeg, Canada

Price: $50 (plus shipping)

This selenite cluster has two main crystals jutting from the center mass. These two crystals have a very good yellow color. In the second video, it shows how fluorescent this sample is too.

The crystal in the bottom right at the start of the video had to be glued back on. This crystal was loose due to how fragile the sample is and it broke in transit. The repair is not noticeable at all, but still important to note.
