Undergravel Filter Systems have been around for decades. The simplicity is its strength. We’ve added a few optimizations to the platform, like using our Easy Flow air lift system. This was accomplished by using our uplift system, creating a new collar to utilize our weighted air stones, which are included with the kit. Undergravel filters do a great job of filtering particles out of the water and housing beneficial bacteria while maintaining a gentle flow for shrimp, fish, and plants. The sliding design allows you to put the uplifts anywhere in the tank, giving you the ability to hide the uplift in a rock formation or behind your favorite piece of driftwood.
