Just in Refurbished and Looking for some one who needs a Light to keep the dark at bay. This Reverse Painted Brain Glass Shade atop a cast metal , Poly chrome bo***ir lamp , is lovely. This Lamp Has been fitted with a period correct push thru socket , and 6 foot of rayon covered Parallel lamp cord , and round plug .

This nice couple comes into the shop a few months ago and brings me in a shade, empty of any glass, so just the frame work and a bag of broken green glass and they were wondering if I could bend some new glass panels for their shade in a cream colour because they never really liked the green glass. Sure I can do that. Out of the 6 good panels I had three that were not so good but that is what happens when one is learning new things. If you have a broken stained glass anything or just a lamp that needs work, bring it to The Lamp Shop In Troy and we can fix you up.

Soooooo...we get this phone call at the shop and they ask if we fix lamps and repair things. We said yes we do. Do you know anything about other electronics. we said some but what do you have that needs fixed? There is a pause on the other end then they ask, do you know anything about trasnporters??? I came back with, the coils giving you a problem of the pattern buffer?

This customer had 2 windows that they bought and both were still in their sash frames when purchased. The original window sashes were very dry rotted and I replaced the wood with a zink frame on both. The window on the right had a lot of broken pieces including the center diamond . Impossible to find this kind of glass now so I matched it the best that I could and trimmed down the edges on 2 of the corners in the center diamond. Now they are a little different but still look good together. I know what you are thinking. Stained glass window repair at a lamp shop? Yes we do that too and I have worked on a number of windows and right now a stained glass fire place screen right now.
