After a couple trial runs, we're thrilled to announce that the new venue space, TCM Performance Hall, is open for business.
If you'd like to book a night for any performances; music, comedy, spoken word, magic, etc., stop by or give us a call.

In the meantime, do yourself a favor and check out some music from Life in the Circus. You can find them anywhere you can stream music.

This area is quite literally saturated with amazing bands and musicians. If you don't have at least a dozen locals in your daily playlist, you're depriving your ears. Why would you do that?

The next show on the calendar is Nov. 7th with idiedtrying and special guests absent the mind along with additional performances from The Lazarus Effect, Time is Now, James Atkins and the store's own John Hendry.

We love it when an old friend comes to visit and I know you’re not supposed to have favorites among friends but…
This absolutely stunning Gibson 25/50 Les Paul was on the bench for a routine setup/cleaning and checking over. They built these like tanks so other than a little fret polishing, there wasn’t a whole lot to do but put on a fresh set of D’Addarios. Well, and test play it!
Built to commemorate both the 25th anniversary of the introduction of the Les Paul guitar and the 50th anniversary of Les Paul’s musical career, it features a beautifully figured maple top, mahogany body, a 5 piece fluted neck, a brass nut, a fine tuning tailpiece, a coil tap switch, gold hardware with chrome accents and a gold metal switch tip. Its original “tarback” pickups have been swapped for a set of Suhrs giving this beauty even better tone than it had from the factory. She even comes with Gibson’s “chainsaw” protector case. Weighing in at just under 12 pounds, the only downside to the guitar is the neck and back pain.
As you can see in the photos, while she’s very well cared for, she’s still a player which makes it all the more special. Needless to say, we always look forward to having this one back on the bench!

We're very excited to announce that we have a new violin instructor coming to the store beginning in September.
In addition to violin, she will also be offering lessons on viola and Irish and American fiddle. If you're interested, she will be teaching on Tuesday afternoons/evenings. Give us a call and get your time slot reserved before they fill up

As always, our shows are open to all ages and DORA/BYOB approved. So, load up your family, designate a driver, stop by Mojos Bar & Grille for a DORA drink, or fill your cooler at home and get to the show.

A virtually brand new 2026 Gibson SG Modern in Blueberry Fade!!
As if I didn’t already enjoy SGs and blueberries quite a lot, the absence of a pickguard and this finish makes me love them both just a bit more.
We had it on the bench for a quick resting/setup. The owner wanted to step the strings down to a 9-42 set instead of the stock 10-46. Sometimes a Gibson will fight having 9s on it but this one was more than cooperative. After the slightest of truss rod tweaks we were actually able to lower the action some without any buzz. She left the store playing very easy while retaining all the tone she arrived with.
Just an absolute pleasure to have on the bench.

Big thanks to Tony Goff of idiedtrying for throwing together a phenomenal night of art and music at the store Saturday. Also thanks to Absent the Mind, James Atkins, Dave Berry, Time is Now and Paneth Fall for putting on some amazing performances. And, thanks to the artists that exhibited. If you missed it, you missed a great night of awesome vibes. We can’t wait to do it again on November 7th!

Also, don’t forget about this Saturday’s show (8/8) with Life in the Circus and special guests Tungsten Elevator.
As always, the show is DORA/BYOB approved and open to all ages so load up the family. designate a driver, stop at Mojo’s and grab a drink then get to the show. Doors open at 8:00 pm.
