There has been a significant disruption in the U.S. market for ni****ne disposable v**es, leading to stock shortages and price increases. This is primarily due to a combination of new tariffs on Chinese imports and aggressive enforcement actions by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP).

Key factors contributing to the situation:

Tariffs on Chinese Imports: The U.S. government has imposed steep tariffs on goods from China, which is the manufacturing hub for the vast majority of disposable v**es sold globally. These tariffs, which at one point peaked at 145-170%, have made it significantly more expensive for importers and distributors to bring these products into the country.

FDA and CBP Seizures: Federal agencies have ramped up their efforts to seize and detain shipments of unauthorized e-cigarette products at ports of entry.
