Getting closer.....landscaping, sprinklers, and now to start painting trim since the fields are finished being plowed. A quick sketch to help my husband, Ara, see where to lay PVC for flower beds. Yay!

Had the opportunity to decorate for my daughters school prom at the Grange, here in Trout Lake......a sneak peek at what will be carried at Quail and Poppy. Looked nice, in the evening with the lights...

We purchased our 1890's farmhouse a year ago. Boy time sure does fly. And we decided to bring Quail and Poppy out to the farm. The small milking parlor is going to make the perfect local, and the gorgeous views if Mt. Adams will make the drive to Trout Lake worth it. The snow is melted, and time to put the finishing touches to the shop. Feeling blessed to be able to garden, have a shop, family, and animals all in one spot...Quail and Poppy Farm! Late Spring 2016, is the timeline...Hooray!

Aah...getting closer to opening! We are finally moved into the 1890's farmhouse with the most yummy huge old barn...that is wanting some boot scooting this summer. We had lots plopped on the plate..or platter. Really, really appreciate the patience for the delays in opening. I just want the Quail and Poppy experience to be cheerful and sparkle with charm. Still under construction....the opening has slid due to a really busy summer of construction. Really want to post picks of before and after. And we should in another couple of weeks. Thanks so much for your patience. Yay!...

I will be posting pics in the next week or so. Loving the location!!!! The Gorge, is beyond pretty! So far we have torn down walls, and now to begin the phase of ripping up industrial carpet that really likes staying put. Grrrr!!! My summer is going to be busy!
