As a creative, I can’t just NOT create. It is a burning passion of mine, a deep need in my soul to create.
It was 10:30 last night when I told my husband, “I think I’m going to stay up and make an arrangement.” He looked at me like I had two heads 😂

So, this mama designed last night in our kitchen while everyone was snoozing. It fulfilled so much in me… it’s pretty much unexplainable!

This morning, I gathered just a few things that I had at home and set a table our garden - Each and every one of these blooms were grown by our own hands.

I’m so happy with this DIY “shoot.” It wasn’t for content, it was to fill something inside of me. The photos are definitely a plus, though!😉

We are selling our grown flowers come July! Market bouquets, (waterproof) gift bag arrangements, dahlia bundles, snapdragon bundles, etc.

It’s been quiet over here but I’m here - just still. At the end of 2024, I felt the Lord calling me to stop all floral bookings. I had booked 6 larger events for 2025 prior to that calling. During 2025, it was a struggle of emotions - being faithful and obedient to the Lord came with many emotions and lots of mourning for my own plans. I love designing. And the Lord gifted me with the ability to design! So, I poured my heart into my last six events booked. I look back at these bts clips with so much emotion. Gratefulness, sadness, surrender, anticipation...
I have witnessed the beauty in surrender, in being still. Floral design is certainly not over for me! I’m patiently looking forward to whatever God has in store for me. When He says to move, I will! Until then, my arms are wide open to receive His direction!

A few personal favorites from Brandon and Summer’s special day in March!

Their excitement getting ready and the anticipation to see each other was evident while we were setting up. They had the sweetest family and friends supporting their marriage, as well as cheering the vendors on while staging. I love love love feeling like family on wedding days, even if it is through small gestures while setting up and designing on site.

Summer and Brandon, your fam and friends are so blessed to have you. And they know that, too, based on what I witnessed on your special day. Thank you for letting me flower your big day!!!
