Let’s talk paint markers. I’ve tested a lot of paint markers over the last few months, and let not all acrylic paint pens are created equal.

A lot of them look identical online. Same packaging. Same colors. Same “acrylic paint marker” label. But once you start using them, the difference is obvious.

Some streak, some dry out fast, and some barely cover at all. After testing dozens of brands, I finally found a few manufacturers that consistently perform well, and those are the ones we’re bringing into the store.

Doing the trial-and-error so you don’t have to.

We want you to take your time here. Paint a canvas, build a take-home art kit, test out our stencils, decorate a notebook with stickers, or create something completely your own.

We’ve also added new goodies to the Charm Bar and Patch Bar, so there’s always something new to discover.

Whether you’re an artist, a parent with creative kids, or just looking for a fun way to spend an afternoon, you’re welcome to stay awhile and make something.

Today is a big day.

This morning we officially celebrated the opening of Art & Stuff with a ribbon cutting alongside Mayor Steven Rzeppa, Trenton DDA Director Angelia Jones, and the Southern Wayne County Regional Chamber.

What started as an idea has become a place filled with art, creativity, collectibles, vintage treasures, and hands-on experiences for all ages. The Patch Bar is ready, the Charm Bar is stocked, the Sticker Station is waiting, and our Painting Station is officially open for business.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way. To our family, friends, artists, customers, the City of Trenton, the Trenton DDA, and everyone who has followed this journey—thank you.

We’re excited (and a little nervous) to finally open our doors and see what this place becomes.
