The Orchid House’s name and insignia stem from a rare flower called the ghost orchid. The ghost orchid only blooms under the right conditions and maintains a symbiotic relationship with its environment, giving and receiving resources as needed.

The flower is symbolic of their movement and work within the City of trenton. In only a few short years, they have devoted time, energy, and resources to transforming an abandoned building and uplifting a neglected part of downtown Trenton.

The Orchid House has become a safe and communal space that supports the open exchange of knowledge, culture, and creative capital.
