LIFE IS WHAT YOU MAKE IT😀
The old saying is “work hard-play hard”, but for most of our life as small business owners it’s only been the grind of working hard. 🥵 As we head into our 20th year in business we are so thankful that we are now finding priceless value in “playing”, too. No more sitting on the sidelines watching the world go by.
If you’ve ever owned a small business you’ll know it’s like a child, you’re always thinking of it, finding ways to encourage it and working hard to make it grow into something incredible. But, we are also now more aware than ever that a long life is guaranteed to no one, that it can all end in an instant, and so we now find that it’s also important to slow down and enjoy life.

Sit by the lake.
Meet new people.
Pet as many dogs as possible.
Enjoy good food.
Be kind.
Always be exploring.

🚘 Our latest roadtrip was back over to the Minocqua area that we have grown so fond of. While this was just a quick one-night trip it was just what we needed before the rush of summer and farmers market season.
🤩 A couple of our highlights from this trip were finding a beautiful coffeehouse on a lake in Manitowish Waters called Dixie's Coffee House, and of course the Northern Waters Distillery in Minocqua.
