Selmer "Centered Tone" B-flat Clarinet - Articulated C #/G # mechanisms - "as-is"

This Centered Tone "jazz" model Bb clarinet was used by a Saxophonist as a "doubling" instrument. in Purdue's Jazz program in the 1960's. It has sat idle ever since, and will need repadding to bring it back to its original glory! Selling it "as-is", gives you the option to have it refurbished here at The Sax Clinic to your specifications, or to have your favorite clarinet technician do so.

This one, when newly purchased, was hand-selected at Selmer by lead tech/tester Ed Jarret.

2016 W.M. Haynes Handmade Sterling C Flute #58479 - Good Padwork - French Arms-Soldered Tone-holes

This Haynes Flute was used professionally in Chicago by a multi-instrumentalist who played in the area pit-orchestras. It's in very good, "ready to play" condition. French arms, soldered tone-holes and ranged to low C, this flute comes in its original case with naugahyde cover. The only significant wear is the gilding on the lip plate...it has been polished to a thinner presence….it can easily be replated.

MARTIN MAGNA LOW A Baritone Saxophone - VERY RARE!

One of the rarest Martin saxophones...The MAGNA low A baritone is highly sought after, as there are so few of them. In my 45 year career...this is the second one I've seen. That famous Martin sound with a range to Low A will leave those who seek an American vintage baritone...smiling. This baritone is being sold "as is", leaving you the options of enjoying it as present (fully playable...with need of minor adjustments), having it overhauled by your favorite tech or asking The Sax Clinic to set it up to your tastes.
The sax is free of major damage, with good pads that have plenty of life left, a body tube that is straight and true. You'll see a piezo microphone/transducer pick-up port with threaded cap on the neck that seals well. It comes in a RS Berkeley Contoured case in good condition.

New Price!

1964 Selmer Mark VI Alto Saxophone #117596 - Original Lacquer - FRESH REPAD!

This 1964 beauty is a very special alto, indeed. One of the "singing-est" altos I've ever played...so lyrical, rich and full! A powerful center core that leans to the dark side of the tonal spectrum but has that "zing" needed when pushed hard! With 95% of it's original lacquer remaining, it has had a patch of lacquer loss on the left upper body tube near the upper stack keys. Aside from that the saxophone looks like new! It has been repadded here at The Sax Clinic with Pisoni made Ferree's B59 pads with seamless domed metal resonators. A 1 year adjustment warranty accompanies a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. Since our inception, no saxophone has ever been returned due to customer dissatisfaction. We are proud of our reputation for selling only instruments that bring nothing but pure musical pleasure to the buyer. Call or email today to learn how you can own this stunning Mark VI Saxophone!

1954 Selmer Super Action (SBA) Low A Baritone Saxophone #54743 - Original Lacquer - Recent Overhaul - OUTSTANDING!!!

This is not only the finest looking SBA baritone I have ever seen...it's a REAL PLAYER to boot! Usually horns as pretty as this were babied or ignored. This one has been babied it's whole 71 year life of performances! Original lacquer, neckpipe and resos with no evidence of resolders on the horn but there is a hint of the neck tenon solder joint being resealed. (The neck on my personal 53,### SBA needed this done as well). It has been recently overhauled by another pro sax shop and has been thoroughly inspected and adjusted here at The Sax Clinic as I specialize in baritones! It needs nothing other than a new home.

The price is fair considering the rarity of finding a Low A SBA in this condition, as Selmer only made 180 such baritones and the number of one-piece bell, American assembled and engraved is far lower than that, not to menton ones that remain "original". THIS IS A RARE FIND! The original case is present in very good condition.

The Low A SBA has a smaller bore than it's successor...leaving one to experience it as a larger tenor, if you will. This smaller bore leads to quick attack and a focused core that will cut across a large room with ease. You'll notice that Selmer returned to some of the keywork ideas of the SBA when they created the Series III baritone. The SBA, however is far thicker and more durable. A new standard gold lacquered Series III is priced @ $16,759 for comparison. Try getting that price to hold it's value over the long haul...or likely accrue in value each day?

I'd keep this horn without flinching if I didn't already have a Low A SBA (You'll have to pry it out of cold, expired hands!)

You'll love every minute of this Beauty that plays like a BEAST!!!

Shipping is not advised...and will only be considered within the contiguous lower 48 United States. Better yet...come try it here at The Sax Clinic! I'll tailor it to your playing style and approach!
