Oh hey.... BIG news 👀

We’ve got TWO things coming up:

We’re popping up at Cherry Capital Comic Con on Friday, the 22nd for Preview Night. Like last year, we'll be open a little earlier while they prepare their big show and will be open a little bit after they close up shop.

This one’s a smaller market, think of it as a taster for our summer event (no new vendors this round, so we don’t overlap with the con!).

AND Monsters Unreeled is leveling up.
We’ve got a shot at filling our largest room yet with a Friday night screening after the con wraps.

We’ve already locked in the movie… and I’m VERY excited about this one. This is the movie that made me a full-on monster kid.

And just like that—we’re done!
A huge thank you to all of our vendors, both local and those who traveled to be part of the market. We truly appreciate the time and energy you brought to the day.
And thank you to everyone who came out and supported these amazing vendors with your hard-earned money. So many sellers shared that this wasn’t just their best market with us—it was their best event yet.
We couldn’t do this without you. 💚

And also thank you Right Brain Brewery for sharing your amazing space with our crew that loves to geek out over cool stuff.

We’ve got a bunch of new followers — thanks for joining our little pop-up market community 💚

A huge part of Geek Trader Market is community building, and one way we do that is through our monthly Monster Movie Group - Monsters Unreeled. We hang out at a brewery, eat hamburgers, and watch horror the way it was meant to be seen: on VHS. We meet every LAST Friday of the month at Tank Space on 8th.

The picks lean heavily into late 80s–90s cult classics, and every screening comes with an exclusive fan zine, Unreeled Digest — our own bush-league Fangoria.

Our next movie is happening the day before the next market: Death Becomes Her — a campy, catty cult classic about the obsession with youth… and a rivalry that absolutely refuses to die.

Whether it’s your first time seeing it or your hundredth, it’s the perfect pre-market hang. Spots are limited to 25 and have been filling up, so please RSVP to lock in your spot!

I’ll wait until Saturday before sending emails to vendors who’ve done one market with us to offer any remaining spots. After that, we’ll open availability to new vendors. Please reach out if you've done more than 2 markets and didn't receive the email.

Word on the street is folks like Commander. It's recently been discovered that games play much better when gullets are stuffed from Oakwood Proper Burgers and drinks are flowing at Tank Space on 8th.

We’ve already filled over half the spots for our upcoming Monsters Unreel Friday Night Monster Movie at Tank Space on 8th — happening January 30th (and it’s our 1-year anniversary, no less!).

This time, you’re going in blind—taking a chance on 1 of 8 films… or maybe even a mysterious ninth. 👀

If you’re a fan of horror—especially body horror—you will not want to miss this. We’re screening a legendary ’80s classic that every horror fan should experience at least once. And if you’ve already seen it? It’s one of those movies that hits even harder with a crowd and fresh eyes. It's one of those that completely changed the game with practical effects and pulls off some real gnarly stuff!

Our first mystery movie is here for the year. One of eight films will be chosen by the roll of a die. The zine will be made, the tape revealed, and the horror unleashed that night at the screening.
