The Unicorn Bookshop opened up on June 1, 1975 in Easton, Md. How time flies, I hope I was having fun! The shop stocks a wide range of secondhand and rare books and even a few maps. Specialties include Maryland and Eastern Shore history, hunting and fishing, children's books, general and collector fiction and even some autographed first editions, art books, books on antiques, Civil War, World Wars I & II, leather bound books, sets, cook books, gardening books, craft books and much more.

Unicorn Bookshop will be closed Sunday, Sept. 14 so I can go to the skipjack race at Sandy Pt. Will be open as usual from Monday on.

Many thanks to Anne and John Farwell, publishers of Tidewater Times, for the wonderful full page celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Unicorn Bookshop ad they gave me that's in the June issue. FB won't let me show it, for some reason. But thanks not only to Anne and John and everyone for their kind support for over half a century. (OMG! has it really been that long!!!!)

The Unicorn Bookshop will be on vacation and temporarily closed from April 30, 2025- to probably mid May as I will be recovering from surgery and aren't supposed to be doing any heavy lifting. Watch this space for updates. See you when I reopen later on in May.
