Good morning from Guatemala!!
Let me tell ya how great my God is and how he showed out this week!!! The Devil has been trying to stop this mission team all week but He did not succeed!!! I say every year that God puts his mission team together and WOW did he this year! This team has pressed through all the obstacles and never complained.
The traffic is terrible in Guatemala this year because of the floods and mudslides so alot of roads are blocked or washed away and it has forced everyone to just a few roads thru the mountains. We flew in last Friday and it took us 4-1/2 hrs to get to Pastores and should have taken an hour.
We were planning on building 15 houses and had 5 more houses donated before we traveled down. We started building houses on Monday and at the end of the week we had 17 houses built and the remainder will be built next week. God blessed us with dry but HOT weather. GLORY!!!
The Medical team saw 500+ patients this week and I promise everyone, the team was tired each day when they crawled back in the van. Great Job Team!!!
You might have seen my post from last night but we spent 14-1/2 hrs in the vans traveling yesterday.
But the Devil didn’t win, We were able to bless 200 families in Asterillo last night with food, clothes and shoes!!

One quick story about how God showed out. We were on the way home last night and we were in stop and go traffic and it was late (1:30am) and a lot of the big trucks were shutting down and going to sleep in the trucks. I was worried that I was going to have my team of 25 sleeping in vans and trucks on the side of the volcano. About that time a guy on a motorcycle came up to my van and said “Groupoue” and started pointing down the road. So I took off down the road and when I went around the curve I saw our local Pastor Max standing in the road pointing down a cobble stone street and we followed him home. Pray for all those poor people trapped on that mountain last night and today. GOD is Good!!!!!
We fly out Friday night at midnight so please pray for safe travels Friday on our way home.
