Over the last several months, I’ve been a little quieter on here because so much of my heart and time has been going into something new my friend Victoria and I have been building together.

As homeschool moms, we spent years having conversations about education, childhood, confidence, and the kind of environment we hoped our own kids could grow up in.

Over time, those conversations turned into something bigger and eventually became Northstar Academy South Bay.

It’s been such a meaningful journey. Esther’s Shop will always be a special creative space for me, but this new chapter has become a really meaningful part of my life and heart too.

As some of you may know I named my shop after my mom, she passed when I was young. Some of my favorite memories are of us crafting and cooking together. Naming my shop after her has been very therapeutic in keeping her name alive in my adult years. Since naming the shop, I’ve been called Esther many times and secretly it always puts a smile on my face. Today marks 30 years since her passing which I really cannot believe because I still miss her so deeply. Love you mom ❤️❤️❤️
