The Role
We're hiring a Staff Pharmacist for PRN, part-time, or full-time hours. You'll work alongside a multidisciplinary clinical team, registered nurses, respiratory therapists, and certified specialists in medication therapy management, hormone replacement therapy, and more, in an environment built around genuine patient consultation rather than high-volume dispensing.
The Schedule:
No late nights! Ever. Occasional 4.5 hour Saturday shifts. We're a family-owned business that runs like one, which means real flexibility when life happens!
What You'll Do
- Contribute to a patient-first culture that's defined our pharmacy for over 70 years
- Counsel patients on medication use, interactions, and adherence
- Dispense medications and verify prescriptions accurately and efficiently
- Ensure full compliance with state, federal, and HQAA accreditation standards
- Collaborate with prescribers, nurses, and clinical specialists on patient care
- Manage inventory and support day-to-day pharmacy operations
What You Bring:
- Active pharmacist license in the state of Kansas
- Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree, or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy
- Strong skills in prescription verification, dispensing, and patient counseling
- Comfort with pharmacy management systems and inventory processes
- Sharp attention to detail and strong problem-solving instincts
- Excellent communication skills, both with patients and healthcare partners
- Bonus: prior experience in compounding, DME, or clinical patient care settings
