For those of you who may not know exactly what it is that we're selling, essentially this is a revamped version of the first printed photographs ever invented. In a day and age of digital downloads, we're bringing history back so your favorite photos won't just get lost in a sea of downloads

A lithophane is a thin plaque of translucent material, normally porcelain, which has been moulded to varying thickness, such that when lit from behind the different thicknesses show as different shades, forming an image. Only when lit from behind does the image display properly They were invented in the 19th century and became very popular, typically for lampshades, nightlights, or to be hung on windows. They could also be given stands, to be placed in front of a light source.

This was the first light box we printed, white filament let a little too much light escape and didn't brighten up the photo properly. I found Grey filament is a good choice and makes the prints pop
