The latch arm spring is too weak to pull the arm back when the engine coasts back down, so I had to stretch it a little to get the right tension on the arm. This engine will get an overhaul with new wiring (rats have chewed what's there), new gas tank, and a bath in paint stripper.

Sometimes the first start of an engine is a little....messier... than expected. Had a little oil leftover inside the valve cage area from freeing the valves.
