It might not seem like that long ago but launched its Little People Play Family in 1959, by 1970s the little wooden bodied families came with a farm, school set, train station and many more scenes that were then marketed as Little People Villages.

Crazy to think that in 1970 this toy company was trying to make a push and market the fact kids needed less battery operated toys; trying to combat the release of the first home video game Pong ... ( another lesson on that later). I wonder how the sales team members feel about "kids toys nowadays days"🤔

Which Little People set did you have growing up ? I had the farm but by the 80s little people were plastic .
