Heavens Gate & Laughing Dog Art in the Market Village-300 Block, Tionesta PA will be open Saturdays 10 til 4 starting tomorrow May 2 until Memorial day..then shops will be open Fridays 12 til 5 , Saturdays 10 til 5 and Sundays 10 til 3!! Many new designs at both shops.. & the PA Firefly Festival will be held in the Market Village June 26 & 27!!! PAFF Firefly t- shirts are available for purchase at both Heavens Gate & Laughing Dog Art! Look forward to seeing everyone!

Heavens Gate in The Market Village, Tionesta, will be open Saturdays 10 til at least 3 starting Saturday April 4, 2026. Will be open Friday, Saturday, Sunday starting Memorial Day Weekend when all of the shops open for the season. Thank you for supporting local artists & shopping small!!

Big news! The 14th Annual PA Firefly Festival will be at Tionesta Market Village-300 Block, Tionesta PA this year!! June 26th and 27th 12-6pm, free and open to the public, with food, live music, exhibitors and entertainment, as well as all of our shops open (we will have brochures and maps available for you!)

Enter the lottery for your chance to be on the guided tours from 7-11pm at Tionesta Lake- only 150 spots will be selected and the entry closes next Sunday, March 29th. They will select the 150 people on March 30th. (See link below) These tours are separate from the Festival just a short drive away, and there are literally thousands of applicants each year.

✨️Why is this so freakin' cool? In case you didn't know, the firefly is the PA state insect, and while there are 2,000 species worldwide, the PA Wilds area is home to the rare synchronous species that flash in unison during mating season, as well as the Chinese lantern fireflies. The only other places in the WORLD to watch these beauties is Great Smoky Mountains National Park area, and parts of Asia!
People travel from all over to see the forest here light up like Christmas Trees.
