Here is more information ..Join us for an evening of Good Food, a tasting of two Special Bourbons, and a Fine Cigar @ Holts North East Cigar Club 12270 Townsend Rd Philadelphia Pa 19154.
Event will be from 5-8 PM on Wednesday December 6, 2023. Meal will be appetizers followed by Filet Mignon Steak with potatoes and vegetables provided by Baldor Foods and cooked in our Caring Community Kitchen.

We will be learning a little more about Bourbon and tasting FOUR rare bourbons provided by our Resident Bourbon Whiskey and Wine Expert Hardeep Chawla from Sant Properties and enjoying a fine Ci**rs provided by Ashton Cigar Distributors. Holts staff will be available to answer cigar questions and the store will be open for purchases.
You are welcome to Tour Caring for Friends between 4 and 5 and welcome to help cook if you want. Everyone who Tours We will be tasting an additional rare Bourbon and receiving a Caring for Friends T-shirt

About Caring for Friends
Caring for Friends is a 501c3 Volunteer Service organization that provides food and friendship, to our neighbors in need in the Greater Philadelphia Region. Caring for Friends Volunteers and Community Partners prepare meals at home or in our Caring Community Kitchen for homebound individual Seniors, the disabled and and veterans. We create Family Meals for hungry and food insecure families, and we make full pan meals for shelters. Our Volunteers and Community Partners make thousands of sandwiches and supplementary meal/snack bags for the homeless, our homebound, and kids. In addition to our meals program, Caring for Friends operates a large regional food bank supporting over 200 Community Food Pantrys and community distribution events.
Founded in 1974 by Rita Ungaro Schiavone, a wife and mother of four with a big heart for service and a core belief that:
“No one should be Hungry or Alone in a world of Caring People”
Caring for Friends Volunteers rescue millions of pounds of food from generous food industry partners that would otherwise go to waste. Our Volunteers sort it, distribute it to our Food Pantry Partners, and the cook it in our kitchen.
None of this would be possible without the generous donations and millions of service hours
from donors and volunteers like just like YOU!

Caring for Friends offers Volunteer opportunities and service hours at our facilities, at your place of work, community, or your home.
We offer speakers and service learning education and activities to schools, companies, faith and community organizations, scouts, friends and neighbors groups.
You can help by inviting your family, friends, and neighbors to join you in giving and helping helping others. Invite your company, school, faith/civic/service organization to join you in service through giving, volunteering, and supporting Caring for Friends.
