SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT! We have an absolutely stacked metal ripper for you on June 5th with touring bands Mo'Ynoq and Valletta from North Carolina. With them will be Tiffin's Dissected along with Axioma and Skin Sandwich. As always it's free to get in, but donations are encouraged to play the bands with. There will also be free pizza provided by Reino's. Come out and enjoy some music with us.

SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT! Coming up on April 3rd we have another killer show for you. Starting the night off we have Tiffin's newest band Ordinary for their first performance. After them we have South Reach returning after releasing their newest album just a few months ago. Finally we have Holy Coast back again after also releasing a new album a few months ago. As always it's free to get in. But donations for the bands are encouraged. Come out and enjoy some music with us!

Two forces of dark experimentation join forces for this split release. Tiffin's Calamus brings eerie keyboard sounds with strange tape loops to his side while Tiffin's A Night Spent Dying has brought raw and analogue dark dungeon ambient recordings to his side of the split. On April 1st you will be able to listen to this split on all streaming platforms. On April 18th Under The Surface Records will be providing a small run of 20 lathe cute vinyl records created by . If vinyl isn't your thing will be doing a small run of cassette tapes of the split as well.

SHOW ANNOUNCEMENT! After not having any shows in December I'm happy to announce the return of three amazing bands to Under The Surface Records. Nobody Wins, Foxing Day, and Breathe In Stereo have all had amazing performances here before and I greatly look forward to having them do so again. As always it's free to get in, but donations for the bands are encouraged. Not only that, but there will be free pizza to enjoy provided by Reino's. Stop by and enjoy some music with us.

Under The Surface Records has a new tape release coming on December 12th at midnight. Tiffin's A Night Spent Dying along with Synystraad, another Ohio dungeon synth artist, have joined forces to bring you over 40 minutes of pure dungeon synth ambience. We will be doing a small run of 20 DIY cassettes with heavy cardstock j-cards on NOS TDK tapes. Both sides will be released on their respective bandcamp pages as well as your favorite streaming service.

I've been talking a lot about the recording studio aspect to what I'm doing after closing the record store, so I wanted to spotlight the record label aspect. Just brought in this stereo 16 times speed cassette duplicator. Now instead of only doing professional runs of tapes we can do smaller DIY runs for smaller artists. Slowly, but surely making progress. More updates coming soon.
