Did you know…we burn every single cork lid that goes on our candles? Yep. Every single one.

Is there probably a faster way to do it? Absolutely. 😂 But there’s something special about the little details that make a handmade product feel handmade.

From pouring the wax to finishing each cork lid, there are a lot of hands-on steps behind every MillTown candle—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Most of you know by now that we're renovating a building right here in Thomaston, and MillTown is growing!

It's been a long process, and if you're local, you've probably driven by more than once to check on the progress (we know we do too! 😉).

The framing is done, the sheetrock is up, the finishing touches are underway... and our MillTown letters are officially on the building! Seeing our name up there made it all start to feel real.

Now comes the fun part—moving in and making it feel like home.

And to answer the question we hear approximately 47 times a day... 😂

"So... when are y'all opening?"

We promise we're just as excited as you are! We're not quite ready to announce an official opening date yet, but we can tell you this: it's happening this fall, and we're working as quickly as we can to open the doors.

Thank you for cheering us on through every step of this journey. We can't wait to welcome you into our new home soon!
