The season is in full swing with all its irony. The colors are “coming alive” as the foliage is dying and preparing to winter. The chapter is changing and after much ruminating I have decided it is also time for tiny llama to close the doors.

Wow, this was such a difficult decision but I’m being reminded that some things need to winter, morph, end in order to clear the path for what is next.

I feel much gratitude for the learning experiences of these past 5ish years (including when tiny llama started out kiosk style in ) and all the lovely people I’ve gotten to meet along the way. Thank you thank you for all the kind words, the people who have personally reached out, and the ones who have provided so much support while I’ve been feeling quite unanchored.

The shop will reopen Thursday Oct. 14th and things will start out with a 40% discount store wide. Creative reuse will continue to be pay what you want and I’m sure there will be a free pile. Things will go weekend to weekend based on sales and closure will be announced once all the products have found their homes 💛🍁

Hey everyone! I am working through some financial and business decisions with tiny llama and am going to spend the month of September to take another dive into the business plan. There might be a pivot on what is offered in the shop or after taking a deeper look at things it might mean reopening in October for a closing sale….

I sure hope to be able keep things going here but I’m at my limit monetarily. Also the burnout is real, hoping that taking a step back for a moment will give the clarity and renewed energy to roll up the sleeves and keep going.

We will be open through Labor Day weekend and then closed for the rest of September. Stay tuned for the reopening date in October and where the direction of tiny llama will be going. Much gratitude to all the love and support over the past 4 years!

There is a lovely 2 day oil painting class being taught by that I’m very much looking forward to! It is happening 6pm Friday & Saturday, August 11th & 12th.

Suzie will teach how easy it is to paint realistic landscapes using just five colors. You will leave knowing how to see and mix naturalistic hues, values and intensities.
