’Twas the night before opening, and all through the store,
The shelves were all stocked from the ceiling to floor.
The banners were hung and the signs were just right,
Getting ready for families, fireworks, and lights.
The sparklers were waiting, the fountains stood tall,
Roman candles and rockets lined up wall to wall.
The crew had been working with dust on their shoes,
Counting the cases and checking the fuse.
The Kong was on watch, standing proud by the door,
Ready to welcome each customer once more.
The kids will come smiling, the grown-ups will grin,
As BAMA Joe’s fireworks season begins.
With red, white, and blue and a whole lot of cheer,
We’re ready to kick off our favorite time of year.
So load up the family and come see the show—
The 4th of July starts at BAMA Joe’s!
