Some of you have wondered about the glass that we use in our ArKIV Museum Quality Display Cases. If you're curious, then this post is for you! To start with, yes our glass is real glass! It starts with 1/4-inch thick tempered glass paneling. Our anti-reflective performance is achieved by manipulating light waves. This causes the light to bounce in different directions rather than directly back at you. Our glass is also UV-resistant. It's low-iron substrate is coated with metal oxide layers that are as thin as 1/500th of the diameter of a human hair. All of this together results in glass that is free of unwanted tinting and shading. When you setup your art and turn on the lights, it virtually disappears! Time for a feature deep dive! We built EconiQ with stacking in mind. While the EconiQ case looks great on it's own, it also is ideal for stacking. Each EconiQ case ships with four holes that are covered with special silicon caps. If you want to stack, simply remove the caps and insert the included steel pins. Each case includes 4 matching holes on the bottom that allow you to build your own personal display tower. EconiQ is available in 12" and 18".
