I have noticed a few inquiries, as to our store hours, and a few random requests. The store is closed, since Randy passed away.
This page is still here, so if it is started again, and so if a friend would like to contact me still. Thank you, Gloria

It is with a very sad heart, that I need to make this post. To all people who knew Randy, he was a kind, caring, and loving man, who taught music and guitar with a gentle, and understanding patience.

He was a genious, at repairing instruments, and more than meticulous in everything he did. Many many people have been gifted with the very most, true sound that could possibly be had, with their guitar, or instrument.

He truly cared about each and every one of you, as do I. It was what kept us both going, since we opened, in 2013. We and he hoped to be able to put into your hands more than music- we hoped we instilled a feeling that you are truly important and cared about. I think that was achieved. He had only hoped that someday, after he was gone, that people might remember the old man of the music store, and music would continue to be shared by everyone, somehow better, for all he and we gave.

So, it is with a very sad heart, that I need to tell you that Randy passed away, on February 05, 2021, after a sudden and debilitating pneumonia struggle. Rest in peace, to a great man.

Just a quick note to everyone.... We are doing well, no problems. Other than we are bored! Probably like many right now! πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚
Looking forward to when we are able to open the music store back up, after this Coronavirus passes us all!

Stay safe, be well. Keep your 'social distancing' up- we will see ya all soon. ❀️🎡

Check in and tell us how it's going for you! Would enjoy at least hearing from everyone! We don't get here daily, but will try to be here more, now that schedules are starting to level out!πŸŽΈπŸŽΈπŸ‘€ Will be watching for ya!

This is a short, temporary period of time, for which we think it's best, we will temporarily go on a 'music store vacation'. Expect and hope to be back at the store, in the same location, in - who knows for sure, -6 weeks, 8 weeks?

We will be closing the music store as of Saturday, March 14th, due to the Coronavirus now active in the United States. πŸ˜’

We wish everyone good health, and happiness, and expect to see πŸ‘€ everyone soon! 🎻🎻🎸

We will bring some sets of strings home- and if you really need a set- please call us at any of the available numbers! We will very carefully pass you a set! LOL.. πŸ˜€

Be safe, be well and keep picking! This will all be behind us, soon! πŸ™πŸ™ Health blessings to all our friends and families.

As many of our friends here are aware, we flipped our Toyota truck about 1 1/2 yrs ago on I-40 and totaled it. We were OK, just the truck was history. We purchased a van... as we had all our instruments with us..(of course), and was picking up a new 'music mascot puppy- Shyla. Needed space- more room. We just recently totaled our van, too. It slipped out of gear in front of our music store, rolled across the parking lot- injuring Randy in the process. He is mostly OK now... (we think)... but, if you happen to go to the store and he isn't there, it is due to some medical check-ups, or we are vehicle hunting!! If you do get there, and we aren't open by chance- call us!! We might be a minute or two away! 417-280-5153, or Gloria's cell: 417-280-6375, or our landline: 870-635-0106. Cross your fingers that we find a great replacement for our 'Music Chariot'! :) :)

Again, we have been very busy- not just at the store, but in life in general. Our music mascot beginner, Shyla came up ...

Again, we have been very busy- not just at the store, but in life in general.

Our music mascot beginner, Shyla came up with tick fever and some other unheard of parasite- she has had to eat, in order to get the meds with food, but wouldn't eat. Came down to a major kitchen event, and cooking more than I would for a gourmet restaurant!!

Winter finally hit, and I've had firewood and heat to tend to, and opened another business called 'Ground to Glory', and I'm working hard on learning all I can about sourdoughs, and other delightful, healthy baked goods.

Music lessons are building, and although Randy can handle some, he can't do it all- so I am learning Dobro, and teaching dobro, fiddle, mandolin, and upright bass...., jogging back and forth from home, to the vet, to the firewood... with Randy doing all he can to help me.

With the music store and the repairs busier, I've been going in and helping him set up instruments and do set-ups and some of the repairs.

Wouldn't change a thing!! :) Love all of our students, and will continue not cutting any corners on any set-ups or repairs! Might be a day later than we hoped for, but the instruments will still go out completely right!
Each guitar or instrument is completely unique, and we've found that there is no such thing as 'one size fits all- each one has different needs, and must be approached finding out just what will pull the very best sound out of that one- be it less costly, or the finest Martin or Taylor!

Now, I have a 'beginner mascot' to un-spoil! LOL
