It’s William James here, the founder and graphic designer behind Dreams Event - an Etsy shop that offers custom templates for Instagram Highlight Covers and Birthday Invitations.
After pursuing my degree in Graphic Designing, I started what I thought was my dream job at the time at your typical corporate cubicle. I was a head of graphics for a multi-national company for many years supervising, leading, and scaling marketing campaigns, and developing corporate marketing collateral. Although, I was pretty good at it. But I knew I was made for more. So I kicked my cubicle goodbye and decided to start my own business, this is where DreamsEvent was born.
Why is the motivation behind DreamsEvent?
I have always had a passion for event planning and design. I love creating beautiful, personalized pieces that can help people celebrate life's most important moments. As I started to share my designs on social media, I began to receive requests from friends and family members to create custom templates for them. That's when I realized that I could turn my passion into a business and help others in the process.
