TEXARKANA INFLATABLE RENTAL SAFETY PSA (PLEASE READ)

If you’re renting a bounce house or water slide, there are TWO documents you should ALWAYS ask for:

1) Proof of Insurance (COI)
Ask for a current Certificate of Insurance.

2) Proof of State Inspection / Compliance (TX/AR)

Ask for their current inspection paperwork / compliance documentation required to operate in Texas and Arkansas.

Each inflatable will have a white sticker on it if the company is in Texas! Saying it has been inspected in the state of Texas!

You Might Be SURPRISED who is not compliant if you ask!

If a company cannot provide BOTH of these documents, you should walk away and book elsewhere.
This isn’t being picky — it’s protecting your kids, your property, and your event.

Also smart to ask (but #1 and #2 come first):

Written contract + weather policy

How the unit is secured (stakes/sandbags/anchoring)

Cleaning & sanitizing process between rentals

Why “cheapest” can be risky

Operating properly (insurance + inspections) costs money. Some companies skip those steps because it’s expensive, and then they can undercut pricing because they have less overhead.

But sometimes “cheap” can mean:

Dirty equipment
Damaged Inflatables
Non-compliant operation
No real protection if something goes wrong
