Wabash Valley Pepper Fest & Hot Sauce Expo

Terre Haute is heating up! On Sunday, September 28th, the Wabash Valley Pepper Fest & Hot Sauce Expo brings fiery fun to the Meadows Shopping Center from 10 AM to 6 PM. The main event features the first-ever 16th Road to the America’s Belt Match, sanctioned by the world-renowned League of Fire Chilli Eating Champions out of London.
Special guest Stephen “Fiery Redd” Curgan, reigning World Champion, will attempt a world record eating the most 7 Pot Primo peppers in one minute and host a fan meet-and-greet.
Competitions include the Amateur Hot Pepper Eating Contest (sponsored by Otter Creek Produce Company & Dry Fork Micro Farm), the Champion of Fire Hot Wings Contest (Buffalo Wild Wings), the Taco Takedown Taco Eating Contest (Los Tres Caminos & Taco Tequila’s), the Amateur Hot Sauce Contest, and the Chili Cook-Off for Charity benefiting CODA.
Live music from Logan Rush and Group Therapy will keep the stage rocking all day.

Food Vendors: The House of Brisket, MJ’s, Ice D’oberlandler of Terre Haute, Steve’s Cookie Box, Jacob Gonzalez’s Cotton Candy, Sunshine Snack Kids, Little Bears Coffee, Pepsi, Los Tres Caminos, Taco Tequila’s, Trailer Trash Cuisine, All-up-enyo Grill, Baesler’s Market, Sip Happens Y’all.
Other Attractions: Terre Haute Brewing Company Beer Garden, fresh peppers from Otter Creek Produce Company, Bunny’s Backyard Garden, Dry Fork Micro Farm, and Battle Buddies; garden discussions with The Apple House; Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu demo with Jason Gonzalez; Jeep & Bike Show hosted by Richard Regynski.
